philosophy

My training philosophy is that the body works in levels, and we need to gain the prerequisites required to level our bodies up. For instance, the inability to fully extend your wrist might seem minimal; however that angle is necessary to perform many floor exercises, and could be behind the reason push ups hurt your wrist or your hands hurt while holding weights. Using principles from bio- and neuromechanics, I build plans that will not only help you overcome the barriers to mobility but also maximize what you have and help reduce the chance of injury.

 

I offer many types of programming from 1-on-1, small group and team training. I provide both video sessions and written programs depending on your needs. I specialize in strength and mobility programs, but I also have a vast experience creating plans for increasing power and endurance. All my programs are periodized to ensure the body does not become stagnant and also gives you more exercise options, limiting your chances of boredom!
